Geography: Year 12 Assist in Teaching Fieldwork Skills

Unknown-2Last Tuesday, approximately seventy Year 6 pupils from Orwell Park, Riddlesworth Hall, The Old School Henstead and St. John’s College School, Cambridge, visited the College to investigate the River Ore, Framlingham Mere, Market Hill and the Castle.

They were instructed by College staff in the Geography, History and Biology departments, ably assisted by Year 12 pupils. Working in small groups, the pupils were all involved in a variety of data collection techniques.

As the photograph shows, all the pupils, younger or older, were fully engaged in what proved to be a most enjoyable and productive day.
